the family room offered good space and it was good value. the location proved convenient because it was near the motorway. our stop was just for one night, breaking up the journey to aberdeen. the manager was nice and helpful.

the location was easy to find, and parking was convenient. access to the nearby m6 was simple. the room was quite roomy and spotlessly clean. i found the breakfast options to be good with a variety of choices.
the front of the building needed some tidying, with weeds and grass a bit overgrown.

I found the value for money to be pretty good, and the family room felt big. It was really close to the motorway which were useful. The room were clean, and the beds seemed comfortable. The manager, so helpful and friendly, were a real plus!
The decor looks a bit tired. It could use some updating, I think. But it didn't affect my stay too much.

there is no double glazing in the room. i could hear vehicles going past all night. it made it hard to sleep.

we arrived late, but the owner gave us two cold bottles of water. i liked it a lot. the room was clean and had tea and coffee. the bed was very comfy and pillows were plump. it was nice.
the decor looked old and a bit uncared for. the stairs were a little difficult because of the banister placement. it made the climb troublesome for me.
